Size: 0.6-1.5 metres high and 0.5-1.5 metres wide.

Flowering Period: August - December. Yellow, red, orange or apricot flowers.

Aspect: Semi sun

Habitat: Dry forests, woodland and tea-tree heath.

Cultivation: Very adaptable, tolerating dry periods when established.

Distribution: Vic, QLD, SA, Tasmania and NSW

Similar Species: Dillwynia cinerascens has greyish green cylinderical leaves.

Comments: Useful as a screen plant but it needs to be pruned after flowering.

The leaves are narrow and slightly hairy.
