Lockwood State Forest

Lockwood State Forest (998 ha)– Located 20km south west of Bendigo, Lockwood has blue granite hills to the east of the forest which have an amazing view of the Harcourt valley to the south. Lockwood also supports numerous threatened species such as the Buloke (Allocasuarina luehmannii), Swift Parrot and the Brushtailed Phascogale. This forest also supplies valuable timber products to the local community.
