Lyell State Forest (1664 ha) - Located 20km south east of Bendigo, Lyell forest is a great spot to experience seeing the nocturnal animals emerge on dusk. You may be lucky enough to see species such as the Brush Tailed Phascogale, Sugar Glider, Brush and Ring Tailed Possums and Tawny Frogmouths. Swift Parrots also visit the large trees here in the Spring.
