GOOD FRIDAY APPEALCENTRAL VICTORIAN RIDERS MOTORCYCLE CLUBPOKER RUN 2008
Central Victorian Riders is conducting a Charity Poker Run on 15 March 2008, to raise funds in support of the Royal Children's Hospital - Good Friday Appeal. We begun our Appeal during January 2008, with tin rattling and other collection methods, culminating this with our Clubs annual Poker Run on 15 March 2008. We have been fortunate to obtain donations of Goods / Services from around Bendigo, Echuca and Rochester areas, and would like to ensure that as many motorcycle riders as possible from the area are made aware of this fund raiser, so they can attend and make a difference. Cost for the day is $25.00 per player and $10.00 for non players. We have a array of prizes for the day, the Poker Run WINNER will be the lucky recipient of a 7 night stay at San Mateo appartments, on Broadbeach, Gold Coast, Flights both ways Virgin Blue and Flight Centre Echuca (conditions apply). While the route of the Poker Run is organised to maximize the impact and collection points for donations visiting local towns such as Elphinstone, Kyneton, Daylesford, to name a few. It is set to be an exciting day, ending with presentations, and a spit roast or two to satisfy the weary traveller after the ride. At the conclusion of the ride, while listening to a live band, riders will be offered the chance to enter their machines into a show and shine, with a chance at further prizes.
